BIS STELA Online Licensing Status Tracking System Now Available
November 23, 2009The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has launched an online version of its System for Tracking Export License Applications (STELA). Exporters can now check the status of export/re-export license applications, classification requests, and AGR notifications with the online STELA system.
Applicants using STELA must input their BIS assigned application control number and will subsequently receive the same status information as communicated through the current phone-based STELA voice response system. The phone-based STELA system will be eventually phased out.
