Estes Launches Mexican 3PL Subsidiary
March 6, 2009North American LTL carrier Estes Express Lines, which has been offering service to Mexico since 2003, has launched a new third-party logistics subsidiary for Mexico, Estes Logística.
“NAFTA has created a tremendous amount of commerce between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada,” said CEO Rob Estes. “Estes Logística is in place to reliably meet the transportation needs of manufacturers to get their materials and goods wherever they have to go.”
Estes has established representation in Mexico with locations in Monterrey and Mexico City. Estes also does business at all major border-crossing points, including Laredo (the main gateway for the Mexican interior), McAllen, and El Paso, Texas; Calexico and San Diego, Calif.; and Tucson, Ariz. Border points on the Mexican side include Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, Juarez, Nogalez, Mexicali and Tijuana.
